Midterm 3 Exam Information F21

- The exams in this class are open note / open book / open internet. You cannot talk to another person or have another person help you during your exam
- The third midterm covers these lectures:
- 18. Gene Regulation
- 19. Simple Mendelian genetics
- 20. Beyond Mendel
- 21. Chromosomal inheritance
- 22. Genetics of development
- 23. Viruses
- 24. Immune biotechnology
- 25. Neurons and action potentials
- 26. Synapses and the neuromuscular junction
- The questions are focused on these topics but will assume you remember content from previous lectures.
- There will be ~ 3 multiple choice questions per lecture
- The midterm will begin at the start of YOUR class time (Lecture A = 12pm, Lecture B = 1pm). You will have 50 minutes.
- The exam will be on Canvas and be the same format as Midterms 1 and 2. Students have had trouble viewing images in Canvas Quizzes in Safari. Use a different browser just in case.
Proctoring:
- You must either A) Log into YOUR TA's Zoom during the exam, and have your camera and mic on, or B) Take your exam in PSLH and sit in the seat you have chosen (pick your seat here Links to an external site.). The Zoom links will be listed in the Week 10 module near the start of the exam.
- Students who are not in their correct Zoom session or in PSLH in their correct seat will lose points on the exam. In some cases we may ask you to retake a version of the exam in front of a proctor.
