Pre-lecture Reading Assignment: Drawing Organic Structures
Quick Intro
We will be drawing molecules all the time in organic chemistry! Drawing out full Lewis structures will quickly become tedious and too time consuming. Let's learn to draw structures in a few different ways and decide when we should use each type of structure.
Objectives
- Identify different ways of drawing organic molecules and when each should be used.
- Draw molecules using condensed structures.
- Draw molecules using skeletal structures.
