Assignment (Reflection Journal Example)

Reflection Journal Instructions

[Insert assignment explanation, purpose, detailed instructions, format requirements and rubric]

We are using journals in this course as a self-reflective tool for you to gather your weekly thoughts, opinions, and ideas of the learning content covered. In each journal entry you will be expected to analyze and discuss class related materials, make connections with current events, think about your own understanding of the learning content and draw conclusions. This type of reflective journaling encourages you to think deeply and critically about course content and allows you to revisit your thoughts and see how your perspectives may have changed.

You can choose how you want to create your journal. You may use a blog, a website or a Google Doc (or any other shareable online authoring tool) and submit the link to the post or page. If you would prefer to keep a video journal you may choose that option as well. Please upload your weekly videos to a video hosting platform (Ex. YouTube, Vimeo, etc.) and submit the video link.
