The AP was the culmination of the quarter, as we not only had to research and present information, but we also had to be an advocate on one side of the issue or the other. Besides that, we also had to give a presentation of our findings to the Professor and two classmates over videochat. I feel as though the AP truly challenged my skills as a writer. Not only was I forced to sort through a massive amount of information and then compile a coherent argument, but I had to produce it in such a way that the reader feels compelled to join my mindframe. One of the greatest challenges that faced me throughout this project was organization - I often forgot where I addressed each aspect of my argument, and the first couple drafts ended up with a jumble of information. Through the help of my peers' and Professor's comments, I was able to produce a well organized and powerful argument in the end.
