It was my original idea of RIP projet, but I changed my mind later since it's not meaningful and attractive enough for most of my audience to keep reading. I still put it into the profolio since it was part of my thoughts.

I think that diaries are important materials for autobiography since they clearly show my mental activities when the incidents in my life happen. The dairies detailly recorded the incidents in my sights, as well as my thoughts, feelings and opinions. They can show the process and important details about the experience. However, the diaries are too personal and only show things in my sights and my personal opinions, which may not show the full truth and may mislead the readers to only see the incidents in my point of view. So they might not be object enough.

Letters and chatting records with my friends and classmates are also good materials. They can enrich the process and details in the incidents in my life and show all the aspects of things since my friends and classmates may remember things I don’t remember, or the things I don’t see. But they might still not be object enough since my friends, especially my close friends, always holds the same opinion. And other people might not retort upon me for politeness.

Interviewing the witnesses of the incidents at that time may also be helpful. After all the time passed, they remember the most important parts and they are more open to talk about the incidents since they are already gone. So I can get more information and opinions from all the witnesses of my incidents. But since time passed, they may forget most of the details, which may includes important things. Also, it may be hard to find the witnesses, since time passed, and I may lose connect with some people.

Finding pictures or videos of that time may also be a good method for autobiography. The pictures and videos won’t lie. They are honest recorder of all the things, no matter good or bad. (Of course, without Photoshop.) However, many pictures and videos are lost or deleted over time, and may not be easy to find.

I want to use the genre as objective as possible to describe the incidents which happens in my life use all the possible materials I mentioned before, to show the readers the whole story with thoughts and opinions of my friend and me. They can see most of the details and process, and all the people who are part of the incidents. So they can see and understand the incidents in a whole picture.
