What’s at stake????

• The role immigrants play in building America
• A social construct of a broader creation of the in group and the out group
• The interpretation of the Constitution and how it can affect other groups of people

Who is affected by this?

• Illegal immigrants
• Children of Illegal immigrants
• The view of those coming to America for the first time
• Politics
• The Creation of the Constitution

What is there position? What do they Want?/Need? What kind of audience are they?

• People who may be affect by this interpretation?(but then again how could they do anything if I later rule out because of their position in America?) So then wouldn’t being an Advocate mean that I would have to go against those who are already in oposition with this meaning of who “the people” are in the U.S. and how it should include Illegal immigrants because by doing this it enhances what America was founded upon
• By going against those who oppose this view this would further enhance my stance in the advocation for this groups needing a voice in order to later help them be able to protest for fair treatment, but how does this relate to the case where the DOJ ruled that the mothers had no constitutional rights because they did not have enough time spent in the U.S. in which they could have earned the right? SO wouldn’t the right have to have been obtained as soon as you enter the U.S. because by treating those who are in the U.S. illegally differently then those who are here legally isn’t that hypocracy towards how the U.S. was founded upon? (because when the British obtained people from the U.S. they treated them…???? With their law or without the benefit of their law????_

Causation:

• Root causes have been seen with the many different political cases against people obtaining rights under the people, and not obtaining them, but how are these ammendments similar? Could possibly be caused by the interpretation of the people in cases of illegal immigrants in contrast with legal immigrants?

→ Case with proposition 187 being connected to Cost and Benefit Analysis with many citizens not wanting to pay for any kind of health care for illegal immigrants.
