When it came to the Advocacy Project Prewrite, I had an abundance of solutions I wanted to write about for my topic. After reflection over my ideas, I chose the top three realistic ideas to include in my HCP Prewrite. The Prewrite was very helpful in assisting my final choice, as it helped me reflect over the feasibility of each proposition much quicker than I would have and motivated me to start my research early.

Feedback from the Advocacy Project Proposal provided a huge boost for me towards strengthening my argument in my first draft. My peer's feedback helped me realize that I would need to place much more focus on convincing the audience why my proposed solution was an ideal one, in addition to why it was important. Taking this feedback, I was sure to keep it in heavy consideration while writing my first draft.

Before doing any typing for my Advocacy Project, my initial focus was on the main factors that allowed for my problem to still be relevant decades later. In order to make the process easier on myself, I browsed through a number of sources and took note of the most important information from each.

Although it was assigned after the turn-in of our 1st draft, Critical Reading Response #10 also played a vital role in the construction of my Advocacy Project. After witnessing the way the author broke down her topic and truly "advocated" for it as one should, it gave me somewhat of a role model to look up to and standards to strive for.
