Dear Readers,

        Throughout the course of Writing 39B, I have worked very hard to complete our two main projects, the Rhetorical Analysis and the Rhetoric in Practice, as well as some smaller assignments. As a biological sciences major I struggled in this class and thought that it would be irrelevant to my studies, but it turned out to enhance my writing skills and develop a better understanding of the dystopian theme while still connecting back to my love for biology. Overall, the Rhetorical Analysis improved my understanding of how to analyze text closely and the Rhetoric in Practice forced me to step outside my comfort zone and write in a style that I would not usually approach. Additionally through the process of writing several smaller papers or reflections, I was able to assess my own work and pinpoint my strengths and weaknesses as a writer.

        Attached are my analyses of my projects and some of the smaller assignments I have completed over the quarter. I have thoroughly enjoyed this course, and I hope that seeing the process of my growth as a writer causes you to love this class as much as I do!
