Welcome to my ePortfolio for Writing 39C in Spring 2016. I gotta admit, this is one of the toughest writing class (and probably will be the toughest for a while) I have encountered, but hooray for pushing through!
Anyhow, over the course period, I have gone from knowing minimal about research, to... well, I would say I still know very little about it. However, through the Professor's guidance on the class, we have all learnt valuable persuasion methods and tactics, along with writing strategies. Here, you will see the mistakes and improvements I have made along the ways while writing our two big papers: Historical Conversation Project and Advocacy Project.
Our topic was video games, and, without much of a topic idea, I stumble upon sexism and decided to expand on it for the rest of the class. The Historical Conversation Project basically sums up some of the cause and effect of both sexism in video games specifically and sexism in society. The Advocacy Project attempts to tackle this issue by advocating for a solution. And, if you do want to look deeper into sexism or just want to know what it is, please go straight away to the Historical Conversation Project on your left and read my final draft! If you want to know what my proposed strategy is, then head on to the Advocacy Project tab and let's see if my persuasions convinces you.
However, if you plan to see how I have improved as a writer, please do start with the Reflective Introduction, which composes of the many learning factors I have encountered during this quarter. Enjoy!
