• I really appreciated the way Dr. Obodiac paced the writing process with the multiple mini assignments and study guides. Without noticing, I was thoroughly thinking about arguments and formulating ideas in my brain about genre conventions while answering the small questions about the play R.U.R, the movies the Golem and Metropolis.  

      What concretizes the knowledge absorbed form lectures and assignments more than the personal notes I write to keep my ideas organized and to get inspiration from my own answers to the mini assignment questions. In the notes linked below, you'll see how shortly before the due date of the final GA essay, I was setting my goals and what was left for me to do in order to finish writing my essay. I also made sure to take into consideration the feedback I received, especially for the intro. This organized fashion of presenting my ideas came from how the stages of writing were presented to begin with in this class.

• As well, as soon as I had the thesis I wanted to write in mind, I set an essay plan with the different science fiction conventions as titles to base off the different arguments and paragraphs.
