Grade: A-

The process that this CP lead me to was my first time actually writing a lengthy paper again since my early senior year of high school and I found myself struggling. I was not have a difficult time finding information or gathering my research, in fact, those aspects were the easiest part due to the nature of my topic, Asian Americans and the model minority myth. Rather, I had difficulties trying to connect my research to what I was attempting to convey through my thoughts in writing. I felt that every thought that I had whilst writing came and went in a couple of seconds and I had an intensely inconsistent train of thought. I have always struggled writing rough drafts and changing my writing towards a final draft, but as I was writing, I found that the longer I continued, then old thoughts would suddenly pop up, and I had new ideas to write about again. This process of simply waiting had me feel out the patience that I needed when writing to my full potential when going through my final draft. I learned that I can improve my writing and my paper simply through addition and smaller grammer changes in my sentence to better my word flow. Instead of going through each of my paragraphs individual, I found it easier to add in my new ideas as I went along. While there are no significant changes, this allowed me to understand my own writing process to a greater degree while lessening the stress that I place on myself for perfectionism in my writing.
