My writing skills were very lacking coming into Writing 39C so I had a lot of trouble with the HCP , especially since it was also the first major composition of the course. In the first draft, I was able to write a somewhat decent paper about the issue of animal abuse and exploitation in Thailand's wildlife tourism industry but I did not focus enough on that specific country to gather enough concrete evidence and information. This made many of my claims unclear and confusing because the information offered weren't specific enough to connect them back. During my revision process, I made use of the "draw" ability of my Microsoft Surface and started making notes on my draft by hand. This was especially useful when I had my conference with Dr. Meghdadi and got feedback. Most of the suggestions that were given was to find more information on specific claims to better support them.
