My prose in high school was impactful in how I approached writing, echoing the same sentiments and ideas found in The Anteater’s Guide to Writing and Rhetoric. However, WR3C provided guidance on how to evolve with that information through the models found within required readings, and exercises that refined the skill of research and argumentation along the way. Even as I fell short attempting to move away from overtly complex sentences and commas, and turning assignments in at the brink of midnight, documenting my work and having fun creating of section titles allowed me to be appreciative of my own writing because throughout the entire process, I was at the helm of the ship.
