Below is a discussion post submission as well as a comment I made onto another student's post. I became more comfortable typing out my discussion posts over time, and I believe this can be reflected through how I felt writing it. As this discussion post was asking for more concrete evidence while writing, I was able to dig up statistics and use it to support my own writing. This statistical method of writing is a process that I am used to and comfortable with, but I stepped out of my comfort zone by including opinionated responses about how I felt about what I was writing about. This was something I generally do not do, include subjective aspects, but starting to do so helped me incorporate such topics within my projects that helped improve the effectiveness of my persuasive writing techniques.

Additionally, discussion posts that I am required to comment on another's post have helped me greatly as I am able to analyze others' writing that I have not seen before. Through this, I can specify to myself more concretely what I agree and disagree with, as well as implement structural details about another student's writing into my own to further improve and diversify my style.
