Experiment 6 was fun to write because I thought I had a lot to say about the challenges of learning during a pandemic, especially as it relates to distant learning. In terms of substance, I believed this section was simple because I felt I was well-versed in the subject, as it had been two years since school became remote for us in March of 2020. I was enjoying what I was writing since I thought I had a lot to say and had struggled academically, mentally, and spiritually during this period. This gave me the chance to write about something that I was enthusiastic about.

I learned that when I'm writing about something that I am passionate about, there is a lot more richness in the writing as I know more about what I am talking about. I was unexpected with how much I felt I could write about the given topic. Being able to connect the audience with my idea was not an easy task and I think this is what I found to be the most difficult thing to do this week.

In Chapter 8 of Story or Die, I thought the concept of how an author communicates their point in their story to be pretty interesting. When I was pondering on my opinion of distant learning and why I believed it had an incredibly detrimental impact on pupils in general, I tried to utilize this thinking to defend my point. Cron does an excellent job of emphasizing the significance of engaging your audience in order for them to understand your point of view and relate with your views. I also learnt that a writer's "message" does not necessarily have to be stated directly; instead, it can be conveyed through the remainder of the writing. I found these tips to be very beneficial and will be incorporating them into my next piece.
