Though I made great improvements in my Writing 39B class, there were certain mechanics that I became more effective at. These improvements eventually resulted in a better grade for my latter compositions and I emphasized these improvements in the compositions in this course. I did acknowledge these deficiencies in my self-assessment in the beginning of this course. The main mechanics that I was aware of that needed improvement were macro-organization and paragraph density. Thus, by looking at process work and compositions, it is clear that a heavy emphasis was put in these areas of writing.
