Revision plays a big role in my writing process, without a doubt. I kind of have explained this already in my "Composing Process" section; But while revising my paper, I have a "light bulb" suddenly illuminate in my head and ideas just start flowing. With that happening, I have so many ideas flowing in my head that I need to type them out, either on a separate document or within my current paper. Later on, I will go back and embed necessary quotes or add more analysis or make a connection. Feedback from my professor was a very big help. She directs me in the direction that will help my writing process and make it an even better paper. Personally, whenever the feedback returns, I get a little scared because I am scared of what the teacher will say to my paper. Since it is a very well constructed criticism, I do what they think I need to do to make my writing better. With each feedback that I get from my professor and or peers, multiple drafts definitely benefit me as a writer by implementing these feedbacks into the new draft. With that being said, when I am revisioning, I create structural revisions and rewrite sentences. Along with that fine-tuned my word choices.

Below is an image of feedback that I got from Professor Shank for my Genre Analysis Draft 1 paper. Reading her feedback, I was very pleased that she pointed out some of the things that I did well on. She also pointed out what I need to do to strengthen my writing.
