Analysis of Screenshots

The analysis of a quote (or some other source) should include two parts. The first step is to give an in depth, narrow analysis what specifically occurs within the quote, image, etc. The second should relate the source to one's thesis or to the overall point of the essay.

Here is a screenshot of my analysis from the third body paragraph of my RIP essay:

The bracket with a blue "1" next to it represents analysis one while the bracket with a red "2" shows analysis two. My first analysis describes several moves in detail pertaining to the screenshot I took of my RIP project. I point out how there are multiple images that appeal to a younger crowd, especially to single males. Within my second analysis, I inform the reader of the effect these moves have, such as how they all relate to noir and keep the interest of the viewer, causing them to stay on the website and generate more traffic. Having an analysis that describes the screenshot and another that shows the effectiveness of specific moves forms a successful body paragraph. Had I not followed these rules, both the paragraph and my analysis would have lacked fluidity and depth.
