From First Draft to Final Draft

The layout of my RIP project changed drastically from its presentation format to the final product. My in-class presentation to my group prior to actually creating my RIP was hardly set up like a Buzzfeed quiz, as can be seen here:

Rather than including the layout of an actual Buzzfeed quiz, I simply put a question with an answer and included two different images. Both images were somewhat relevant to noir, but were not very appealing and did not address a particular audience. Other Buzzfeed quizzes utilize several rhetorical strategies within their layout, shown below:

Compared to the first draft of my RIP, the layout of this Buzzfeed quiz is a lot more appealing and effective. It includes the use of images and easily accessable links, which prolongs the amount of time a visitor stays on the page. I utilize this layout in my final draft:

My final draft displays a lot of the same features as the sample Buzzfeed quiz. It includes a menu bar with links to other areas of the website as well as several images to catch the attention of the viewer. Easy access to a website that is visually appealing in its layout is the first step in generating success. I achieve this, which suggests that the layout of my quiz is successful and fulfills its purpose of keeping a viewer on the page and maintaining credibility.
