  • Finishing off the narrative essay, and using descriptors to vividly appeal to an audience, it came as a surprise that we were now switching over to a more argumentative point of view. 
  • No longer in full-on story telling mode, we were now tasked with writing about a stereotype. The stereotype had to be something people just get wrong, and we had to explain how and why the masses believe it.

The prompt was intimidating at first, I felt a little lost on what I wanted to write about, but after taking time to reflect I decide to write about how the Middle East and Lebanon are always painted in a bad light, and are perceived as war-grounds.

The prompt was simple, we were to use anecdotal evidence, analogies, or any evidence that did not require research to prove and explain a stereotype we wanted cleared up.
