Read "Whistling" (116-118). In the essay, Barbara Holland includes, and sometimes responds to, famous sayings about whistling. (Holland also responds to famous sayings in other essays, including 'The Fourth" [83] and "Gardening" [74].) One example that Holland uses to show that society encouraged her not to whistle: "A whistling girl and a crowing hen / Both will come to a bad end" (116).

Imitating Holland, add a few famous sayings into your Major Assignment 2, integrating them into your argument and, if necessary, responding to them.

Paste here the paragraphs where you've added the sayings, then explain in a few sentences what it is about Holland's technique you're imitating (Like, how does Holland use the saying to help her communicate and generate interest in her ideas? And how are you doing that too?)
